On Tuesday, March 18, former Canal Winchester High School standout Derrick James’ current collegiate team the St. Thomas Aquinas Spartans lost 97-90 against the Assumption Greyhounds in the NCAA Division II Basketball Championship Tournament.
Hosted in Charles L. & Gloria B. Lumsden Gymnasium, this was the first game against the Assumption Greyhounds during the championship.
Derrick James’ hometown is Columbus and game position is guard.
