The second half of 2020: Home prices in Canal Winchester increased

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2020 in Canal Winchester rose by $17,650 while total sales decreased by 11.9%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2020, there were 37 homes sold, with a median sale price of $249,900 - a 7.6% increase over the $232,250 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 42 homes sold in Canal Winchester in the second half of 2019.

The median sales tax in Canal Winchester for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $4,821, approximately 1.9% of the median home sale price for the second half of 2020.
