The second half of 2021: Home prices in Canal Winchester increased

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2021 in Canal Winchester rose by $60,600 while total sales decreased by 8.1%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2021, there were 34 homes sold, with a median sale price of $310,500 - a 24.2% increase over the $249,900 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 37 homes sold in Canal Winchester in the second half of 2020.

The median sales tax in Canal Winchester for the most recent year with available data, 2019, was $4,821, approximately 1.6% of the median home sale price for the second half of 2021.
