City of Obetz issued the following announcement on January 14.

Join the Krazy Kroppers for their first monthly meeting of 2022! The “Coffee, Cocoa, and Cards” crop is a FREE event that will be held on Friday, January 21, 2022 from 5:00-10:00 PM at the Obetz Community Center.

(Future events and/or classes held by the Krazy Kroppers may be subject to a fee)

This event will include:

• Three Card Classes (classes start at 6:00 PM)
• Games and Prizes
• Gift Basket Drawing for guests only
• Grand Prize Gift Drawing for members and guests
• Coffee/Hot Cocoa Bar, Snacks, and Desserts

To RSVP, please text “cup of joe” to (614) 774-7362 by Wednesday, January 19, 2022. Please remember to include the names of all those attending in your group, and bring basic scrapbooking/card making supplies if you have them.

About the Krazy Kroppers

The Krazy Kroppers have been crafting together for 20 years now, and are always looking to add new faces to the group. Since their founding in January of 2002, the group has seen many changes. What started out as a simple, small gathering of friends has grown through the years to now include familiar favorites, such has their: “March Madness” Crop, annual Spring Fling and Fall Retreat, Page Swaps, Card Swaps, and so much more.

The group welcomes guests to try out the group one time for free, to see what they are all about. After your first visit, it is their hope that you will want to become a member of the group. At that point the membership fee will be assessed. The yearly membership fee is $15.00 per year. This fee covers the cost of their website and domain name, birthday drawings, year end prize drawings, general operational supplies, and other miscellaneous expenses. Additional charges will apply for special events and classes, with pricing usually ranging from $5.00 to $20.00.

Basic Benefits of Membership:

• 12 fun-filled meetings (crops) where they typically have a monthly theme
• Website access to stay informed of upcoming classes and events, as well as share ideas and search for information
• Krazy Kropper crop card where you accumulate points to earn towards their year end prize drawings
• Monthly “Members Only” Birthday Drawing
• Access to their “Members Only” snack table during crops

Crops Feature:

• 5 hours of uninterrupted craft time
• Ample table space to spread out and get crafty
• Monthly classes and/or events (fees when applicable, price ranging from $5.00 to $20.00)
• Friends and good fun
