City of Bexley issued the following announcement on January 28.
Bexley Recreation and Parks is planning to form a Senior Services Advisory Committee to provide recommendations, ideas, feedback, and support to the Recreation staff. With the creation of the first senior center in Bexley, the City has made additional investments in senior services and is interested in improving its ability to better meet the needs and wants of older adults in our community. We are looking for individuals ages 55+ who are interested in serving on an advisory committee as we work to expand community services.
The deadline for applications is Friday, February 4. Specific details about the committee and serving in this capacity can be found by clicking here. Appointments to the committee will be made by Friday, February 11 and all applicants will be contacted on that date.
