City of Bexley: Jeffrey Woods Festival on Saturday, March 5

City of Bexley issued the following announcement on February 18.

The past couple of weeks have been perfect for collecting maple sap, and we have a bumper crop headed into tomorrow’s Jeffrey Woods Festival! Join us between 8:00 am – 2:00 pm at the Bexley Pool parking lot for a chance to see how we make our Bexley Maple Syrup, and for a chance to ask questions for our maple syrup team to answer. 

Maple Syrup Workshop

February 26 (Tree Tapping) & March 5 (Cooking Process)

$15/family – Appropriate for all ages

Have you ever wanted to see how we create our Bexley-famous Kelveden Maple Syrup? This two-part workshop will give participants a step-by-step look into how our syrup is made, and all of the work that goes into the process. Even if you can’t make both days, your $15 fee still gets you the bottle of syrup!

Wood Chop Shop

March 5

$15/group (Up to 4 members per group – must be 18 years+ to participate)

City trees that had to be cut down will be available for participants. Split as much as you can in your one our time slot! Registration is open for 3 groups every hour between 8:00 am – 2:00 pm.
