Franklin County Public Health issued the following announcement on April 10.
National Public Health Week is here! And public health isn’t just a week…
It’s all year!
Engaging our communities in public health year-round is only possible from the incredible work from our amazing staff. Both before and during the pandemic, our staff has put in long hours and hard work into making health a priority for all of our communities. That means keeping up with inspections, being present at community events, offering trainings including Narcan, running immunization clinics and so much more.
It’s been a challenging two years for our staff, filled with exhaustion and many unique challenges, but they’ve shown toughness, resolve and dedication to making sure we’re doing everything we can for our residents. They’re the engine that keeps us moving forward.
To the FCPH employees: Thank you for everything you’ve done. You’ve truly gone above and beyond. We’d say you’re capable of great things, but you’ve already accomplished so much.
Join us in thanking our wonderful staff, and Happy National Public Health Week!
