Fitness in the Park: Drop-in Outdoor Workout Classes

With so many different workout programs available, it can be overwhelming to find the right fit for you.

We added a new set of instructor-led classes offered in the Town Center Park – just stop by and give them a try! Leave behind concerns about paying for weeks of a program you don’t like or entering an established class as a confused beginner and join Grove City Parks and Recreation for more free, drop-in fitness programs.

These Fitness in the Park offerings are sponsored by the Grove City YMCA and feature guidance from local Y instructors each Thursday for six weeks from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. in Town Center Park, 3359 Park Street. Choose from dance-inspired exercise with Sh’Bam led by Heidi and Zumba led by Mandy, build endurance with Bootcamp led by Susanna, challenge your strength with barbells during Bodypump led by Angie and Mandy, and experience a full-body cardio-jam session with Pound led by Mandy.

These free, informal sessions allow you to stop by and view or jump in (and out) as you see fit without obligation. All ages as well as fitness and experience levels are encouraged to participate. Dress to be active, grab a water bottle and stop by!

Fitness in the Park schedule:

  • Aug. 18: Bodypump (Angie)
  • Aug. 25: Sh’Bam (Heidi)
