Internationally bestselling author Marlon James will visit Capital University as this year’s featured speaker for the Gerhold Lecture Series in the Humanities. James is a Jamaican author and the recipient of numerous awards, including the 2015 Booker Prize for Fiction. In 2018, he received an American Academy of Arts and Letters Award in Literature. His most famous books are “A Brief History of Seven Killings” and “Black Leopard, Red Wolf.”His lecture and book signing will be held at the Huntington Recital Hall on Capital University’s campus (inside the Conservatory of Music) starting at 7:30 pm. This event is free and open to the public! No registration is required to participate.
