For this special Spring Break edition, I’m sharing four great ways to welcome Spring in Bexley!  – Mayor Ben

Take a Spring Stroll in Jeffrey Woods

From budding trees to blooming daffodils, the signs of Spring are all around. Treat yourself to a long stroll through beautiful Jeffrey Woods to enjoy the many ways nature is preparing for the season of growth!

Check Out Improvements at Havenwood

Havenwood has been under construction for the past few months, but the work is nearly complete and Havenwood is looking terrific. During your visit, check out the improvements which include new retaining walls and optimized access points. And while you’re there, be sure to scope out a good spot to take in a concert during this summer’s Jazz in the Park series. Details on dates and bands will be announced this Spring!

Mark Your Calendars for Spring Cleaning

It wouldn’t be Spring in Bexley without our annual Green Bexley Cleanup Day (scheduled for April 22) and the Bexley Yard Sale and Freecycle Days (scheduled for May 6-7). These events offer a great way to tidy your spaces and find new homes for unwanted items. Stay tuned for more information in coming weeks.

Get Ready for Earth and Arbor Month

April will be full of programs and activities to help us all celebrate Earth and Arbor Month. Be sure to check out Green Bexley for information on the many great ways you can help celebrate, and save, our planet!
