We love our furry friends in Bexley! With warm weather returning, and the dog park constructionwell underway, dogs and owners have lots to celebrate. As a reminder, while leashed dogs are welcome on our sidewalks and at Schneider Park, please remember dogs are not permitted at Jeffrey Park for the safety of dogs, people, and the wildlife in Jeffrey Woods, especially the deer who are easily spooked by our canine companions and can, in turn, cause safety issues at the playground and other areas. Dogs are also not permitted at Commonwealth Park for the protection of our athletic fields. Stay tuned for more details on the dog park, which is expected to open in the coming months. We can’t wait to see all those tails wagging when we open the gates!
