Today for National Public Works Week we are going to highlight the CW Division of Urban Forestry!
This small-but-mighty crew does so much for our city! When they aren't accepting awards (like our Tree City USA designation) or teaching kids about nature (like at the Arbor Day celebration), this division manages nearly 4,000 street trees and 17 landscape areas. They also assist with woodlands protection, stormwater management, and even ensure the office plants are cared for!
Thank you, Urban Forestry, for all you do to keep our city green and our waterways clean!
